Hey, how’s you day? Mine was pretty good. This poem was written for my grandmother and all the grandmothers out there, young or old.. My grandmother is very near and dear to my heart. Not only is she my grandmother but she is my best friend.
Grandmothers Are…
Grandmothers are people who care & love.
They are warm & sensitive.
A grandmother is always there
to put a smile on your face
and dry away the tears.
A grandmother is always there
when you need a shoulder to cry on
or just someone to listen.
Grandmothers spoil you ,
and buy you anything you want.
They are always willing to give that extra mile.

Hello all, I hope that you are enjoying my poems. As you probably have seen they are all about people that have touched my life. This particular one was written for a girl that touched my life in a way that noone else has or well. She was a one of my best friends, her name was Jenn. She had kidney problems & spina bifida. She was in a wheel chair, not that it mattered to me. I never saw her chair just the beautiful person and wonderful friend that she was. If you knew her then you loved her. She had the best personality and would do absolutely anything for anyone. She was an angel.
Jenn passed away on March 27, 2005 (Easter Sunday). I miss her very much, and think about her all the time. She will always be in my heart.
Friends Forever
Friends are people you can count on
to be there for each other.
They are always by your side
and will always help when you need it.
Friends will stick by your side forever,
no matter how far apart you may be.
Once you become close friends with someone,
you know that you will be friends forever.
Dedicated to Jennifer Lee Barton
July 16, 1971 - March 27, 2005
I miss you girl.
